Airtool 2 Release Notes

Known Issues

  • Capturing with the built-in Wi-Fi adapter on Macs equipped with the Apple N1 Wi-Fi chip (MacBook Pro M5 Pro/Max, MacBook Air M5) or the A18 Pro chip (MacBook Neo) requires macOS Tahoe 26.5 or later. Capture modes that rely on channel hopping are not supported on these models due to issues with reliably switching between channels. Apple Feedback: FB22295165, FB22295685.
  • Sometimes, the Wi-Fi interface on certain Mac models may remain in monitor mode after stopping the capture.
  • Airtool 2 running on Apple silicon Macs may not capture all VHT and HE data packets using the built-in Wi-Fi interface, especially when using channel widths greater than 20 MHz or under high Wi-Fi traffic conditions.
